ba BOOM! Sheffield 2026 3 Color Hand Pulled Silkscreen Print
Sometimes an illustration starts with a sketch. Sometimes, it starts with a feeling.
XB rode his bike from Great Barrington to Sheffield when the sky began to change. Clouds stacked up over the hills, the light shifted across the valley, and a massive storm slowly rolled in. The rain was close enough to see, the thunder close enough to hear — but it hadn't quite caught him yet.
He described it as a strange feeling of impending doom. Not in a bad way, but that moment when you suddenly realize how small you are compared to everything happening around you.
He outran the downpour by minutes, but the feeling stuck. So he turned it into an illustration.
Now that moment has become a 12×18 three-color hand-pulled silkscreen print, capturing the storm just before it broke — all that shifting light, heavy sky, and the feeling that something big is about to happen.
