Bears Xing Railroad Street 2026
3 Color Hand Pulled Silkscreen Print
During the early days of COVID, when Great Barrington felt eerily quiet, something strange started happening downtown:
the bears came out.
We watched black bears crossing Railroad Street and wandering through a nearly empty Great Barrington, taking over the town in a way that felt both completely surreal and somehow perfectly Berkshire. It was one of those strange little moments from that time that burned itself into our memory.
Years later, we still hadn't forgotten it — so we turned it into art.
This 12×18 three-color hand-pulled silkscreen print captures our memory of those bears taking over downtown, when the streets were quiet and the wild things seemed to have the run of the place.
