Made on the road
Made during a Blog Trip from Massachusetts to the Florida Keys living out of our school bus, this piece was inspired by a restaurant in South Carolina where plants, food, and atmosphere all came together in one vibrant, lived-in moment. Screenprinted in our bus while parked in Marathon Key, just miles from Cuba, it carries that surreal feeling of creating work while constantly in motion. Along the way we even ran into someone from a past job in the Berkshires also on the road, which made the whole thing feel even smaller in the best way. This print marks an early step into the retro visual language that would later become our postcard series.

We’ll be shipping these prints slightly rolled up in a tube — the most efficient way to mail them, ensuring no damaging bending or tearing. Because we use watercolor paper instead of traditional printmaking paper, our artwork is more durable, making it ideal for our bus-lifestyle. Once you receive your print, just unroll it and let it relax out of the tube. If there’s any curling, a couple of heavyweight books will do the trick!
