Old New England comes from years of wandering through the forests + forgotten corners of New England — the kind of places where history slowly folds back into the landscape. We often joke that we've become “forest detectives”, following small traces of the people who once moved through these woods long before us.
An old clothesline hitch slowly being swallowed by a tree. A rusted pickup truck resting deeper into the earth each season. Stone stairs that once carried heavy footsteps every day, now softened by moss, leaves, and time. These places tell stories quietly. You just have to slow down enough to notice them.
This piece isn’t meant to capture one exact location, but rather the feeling of discovering these forgotten fragments scattered throughout New England — evidence of work, family, routine, and lives once deeply connected to the land. The more we explore, the more it feels like the forest is constantly uncovering and hiding history at the same time.
Through the silkscreen process, we wanted the artwork to feel layered in the same way these places feel layered to us — textured, weathered, and alive with memory. Something that holds onto the atmosphere of old New England a little longer.

Shipping Details ‼️
We’ll be shipping these prints slightly rolled up in a tube — the most efficient way to mail them, ensuring no damaging bending or tearing. Because we use watercolor paper instead of traditional printmaking paper, our artwork is more durable, making it ideal for our bus-lifestyle. Once you receive your print, just unroll it and let it relax out of the tube. If there’s any curling, a couple of heavyweight books will do the trick!
