This piece captures the feeling of ramp season just beginning in the mountains. Bits of flower petals, old magazine pages, and collected scraps from everyday life inside our small school bus home are pressed into the handmade paper itself, creating a surface layered with small fragments of memory and daily life. The bundle of fresh ramps pushing through the cold earth reflects that first taste of spring — sharp, onion-y, garlic-y greens arriving just as the landscape begins to wake back up.

Handmade Paper Print
Each piece is created on handmade paper formed from recycled and found materials collected within our small school bus studio. No two sheets are ever the same — each carries its own texture, imperfections, and subtle variations that come directly from the process of making and living on the road. These works are intentionally left unaltered to preserve the integrity of the paper and the hand-crafted nature of each piece.

Each print comes framed in its original frame, with care taken to protect and preserve the work during handling and display.
