Pittsfield Farmers Market was one of our first major silkscreen projects working alongside Roots Rising, and looking back at it now, it feels like a marker of where everything really started to grow. The piece looks down from a bird’s-eye view onto freshly harvested produce, centered around a woman in a straw hat and a child pausing over a tomato catching the sunlight in its purest form. It holds onto that feeling of community markets in the Berkshires — where food, conversation, and connection all meet in the same small moment.
