Like every great bakery, when you first walk in you are instantly enveloped by the amazing aromas of fresh baked goods. And Moustache Baked Goods does not disappoint, filling the air with an orchestra of scents from all the sweets, pies and cakes baking in the oven. This sweet dream turned reality was created by two 22-year-olds, it sets itself apart from the rest with it's mission to source all ingredients locally within a 30 mile radius.
Everything looked too good, I seriously felt like Charlie in Willy Wonka in the candy shop (except their wasn't anyone singing "The Candy Man" to us.) I could tell from just looking at these decadent sweets, that every cupcake and pie was
made with such careful attention to detail, you could see their love and care of their craft in each cupcake. I got the aptly named "The Outlaw", and it was criminally good. Decadent chocolate cake surrounding gooey caramel, and topped with the creamiest chocolate buttercream I've ever had. No joke, I can't get over how good this cupcake was, and I'm not gonna stop talking about it. Seriously, so good. With their love of baking, and the quality of their product, Moustache Baked Goods is sure to become a lasting staple of Sonoma County.
